BarCamp Vancouver August 25, 2006

BarCamp Vancouver promises to be an ad-hoc un-conference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees, modelled on other BarCamps and part of BarCamp Earth.

We encourage all attendees to participate -- give a demo, a session, or help someone else prepare. Presenters are responsible for making sure that notes/slides/audio/video of their presentations are published on the web for the benefit of all and those who can’t attend in person.

Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn is welcome and invited to join. Come one, come all.

Our announcement will evolve as the details of BarCamp Vancouver fall into place -- venue, precise time and date, sign up guidelines. Stay tuned for more information and sign-up information.
