Banner Hospice Offers Free Life Story Writing Workshops March 27, 2013

Banner Hospice is sponsoring free life story writing workshops with Deborah Hansen, an author and nationally-known life story writing teacher, will lead the “Cameo Life Stories Workshop“. Participants will learn the simple and highly-effective Cameo Method for recording and preserving personal life stories. Life story writing is reminiscence therapy and has great therapeutic benefits for everyone, particularly seniors, and gives people the opportunity to share their accomplishments, feel validated and that their lives had meaning and purpose. It encourages friendship, self-esteem, increased life satisfaction and greater compassion for ourselves and others. The Cameo Life Stories Workshop is open anyone in the community, however reservations are required
