And there's a lot to learn - like podcasting. Or how to promote your band digitally, or how to plan a tour using the web. Or recording. You want to be rock and roll star, don't you? Sure you do! Who doesn't?

That's why we're putting together this great collection of panels for you to go educate yourself at. And the best part? The are FREE. Yup, that is right. F-R-E-E. You just show up, put your behind in a chair, and fill that noggin' of yours with knowledge. And we have experts to teach it to you. Geniuses. Heads bigger than the rest of their bodies.

On Friday, August 18 at 5pm, we'll also have a few top Bay Area djs talking about what's on their ipods.

And on Saturday, August 19 from 4 to 6pm, we'll have a musical series called "And on drums, Mac!" which features artists who incorporate their laptop or iPod into their act. Special guests Jonah Matranga and Goh Nakamura as well as others will perform upstairs in the theater.
