Bandmasters Championship October 28, 2006

As many of you know the U of M Band Alumni chapter presents the Bandmasters Championship, high school marching band contest every year. This years contest will be October 28th at the Liberty Bowl. This year I am pleased to announce that our event will be broadcast tape delayed on WKNO channel 10 in December and multiple other times in 2007 prior to the contest in 07.
I and my fellow Bandmasters Championship committee members have been working hard to make this years contest the best ever, and we aim to make this one of the best contests in the area!!!
This contest, along with great HS bands and our own Mighty Sound of The South doing an exhibition show, is a great recruiting showcase for the University. Dr. Raines has agreed to help in the awards presentation, and we are very honored.
But, we need some help----and Tiger fans you can help!!! Individuals and businesses both can help. We have set up different sponsorship levels. A FRIEND OF THE CONTEST is as little as $25.00.
