BananaChase & Young Champions Races September 14, 2008

FUN FOR EVERYONE! Staged from Kezar Stadium in Golden Gate Park All walkers/runners will have a chance to beat one or more bananas (who, as we all know, run at various speeds) to the finish line, making themselves eligible for prizes.

Following the Banana Chase 5K is the Young Champions Races for kids ages 3-18, which features 50 meter to 1 mile races in age group heats, with ribbons, kids goodie bags and t-shirts to all registered participants.The pre and post race festival features free refreshments, face painters and more from 9 a.m. until NOON. Both the Banana Chase 5K and Young Champions Races benefit UCSF Children's Hospital at UCSF Medical Center.
