601 Light St, (meet on the steps)
Baltimore, Maryland 21230

Due to the many requests from photographers who participated in the original Inner Harbor at Night Photo Safari, Baltimore photographer David Muse has added a second route featuring exciting new views of the city's skyline.Your Safari begins with an orientation on nighttime photography techniques. We will start at the Maryland Science Center and make our way along the South Promenade. We will use the early evening light, the setting sun, and twilight to shoot the Baltimore skyline; its reflection in the water; boats and ships in the Inner Harbor Marina, and the iconic Domino Sugars sign that illuminates the Harbor. At every location on this photo Safari, David will review white balance options and settings for aperture and shutter speed. David will show you where to find perfect shots of Baltimores Inner Harbor, and how to make them. A sturdy tripod and cable release (or remote release) are essential.A critical element of this photo Safari is to show how the quality of light changes from late afternoon to twilight and then demonstrate using hands-on training how to capture that different light. We will talk a lot about composition, exposure, ISO, WB, how best to capture the reflections, etc. as we make our way along the promenade, and David spends the bulk of the time showing you where to find the best images and then how to create them. Included in the price of this photo Safari, David will provide you via email a follow-up professional critique of any 3 images you shoot during the photo Safari. Davids goal is to help you develop a set of skills and techniques you will use over your lifetime to create images of which you will be proud.
