Ballet Under the Stars August 3, 2006

Professional ballet once again takes center stage as Ballet Under the Stars returns to Woodland Park for its 17th year. This four-day outdoor festival gives individuals the chance to enjoy the performances of dancers from the Kentucky Ballet Theatre in the relaxed, casual setting of the park. The evening starts with a pre-show production of local and regional dancers ranging in age from 7 - 18. At 8:30 pm, the main show will begin as dancers from around the world take the stage to entertain the audience. For those who have attended in the past, the format will remain the same: lawn chairs and/or blankets should be brought for seating and patrons may pack a picnic dinner or purchase concessions, which are available on site.
