Ballet Northwest: Coppelia May 11, 2008

South Puget Sound's own Ballet Northwest performs ballet world's great comedy, 'Coppelia.' It is the story of Swanilda who believes her finance, Franz, has become captivated by the beautiful and aloof Coppelia, daughter of the mysterious toy maker, Dr. Coppelius. Determined to confront Coppelia, Swanilda and her friends sneak into Dr. Coppelius' toy shop only to learn Coppelia is just a doll! Meanwhile, Dr. Coppelius has lured Franz into the toy shop in order to capture his soul and bring Coppelia to life. How will Swanilda be able to save Franz, and will Franz come to his senses?
