Ballet Idaho: Nutcracker December 12, 2008

The ballet, which features music by Russian composer Peter Tchaikovsky, is the magical story of a wooden nutcracker doll that is transformed into a handsome prince. He takes a young girl named Clara on a fantastic journey to the Land of Snow to thank her for saving him in a battle with the Rat King. Together, they meet the Snow Queen and King and travel through the Kingdom of Sweets where she is entertained by a Sugar Plum Fairy, graceful Candied Flowers, Gumdrops, Candy Canes and Russian Sugar Twists.
