201 N. State Street
Chicago, Illinois

Balani Custom Clothiers, a family-owned menswear company for more than 50 years in Chicago, will support their clothing consultant Nick Saule as he goes over the edge. Nick will embrace his inner James Bond and take The Skyline Plunge to benefit the Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago and its battle to fight lung disease.
On Saturday, September 8, at approximately 2:50 p.m., Nick will rappel 27 stories down the Wit Hotel's signature lighting bolt (201 N. State St.). Inspired by the upcoming James Bond film, Skyfall, and in true Bond fashion, Nick will be decked out in a custom Balani tuxedo while dangling 278 feet above a bustling State and Lake intersection. To capture every exhilarating moment, he'll accessorize his tux with a bowtie and HD helmet cam.
The best way to help this brave, Bond-esque Balani associate take down lung disease is by donating to this amazing cause.
To join the cause, for each $125 tax-deductible donation made to Nick’s personal fundraising page at http://bit.ly/MXTSE5, the donor will receive: A $50 Balani Custom Clothiers gift certificate and an invitation to the September 5th Pre-Plunge VIP cocktail reception, 6 – 8 p.m. at the Wit Hotel. Each donor will also be given a raffle ticket for a chance to win the following prizes: A complimentary rappel spot for Sept 8 or for a future Skyline Plunge event (valued at $1150), a Balani custom suit or three Balani custom shirts.

The mission of Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago (RHAMC) is to promote healthy lungs and fight lung disease through research, advocacy and education. RHAMC, a voluntary health organization for over 100 years, seeks to improve the lives of more than one million metropolitan Chicago residents affected by asthma, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other lung diseases.
