To take this jubilation to a new level, December 3-9 will be officially BACON WEEK at Smoken Joe’s. Yes that’s right BACON WEEK. Sweet and savory bacon delights for all to enjoy.

For centuries, people used the process of curing and smoking of meats such as pork to preserved them prior to refrigeration. When bacon is prepared it is cold-smoked. This technique takes longer than hot smoking, because it’s performed at a low temperature. It’s essentially a drying process, in contrast to hot smoking, which cooks the meat.

Now, Smoken’ Joe’s will be bringing this cured delight to you. Cold smoked on the premises, you just can’t get enough. We understand your pain. To satisfy your cravings, we will be having Bacon Week at Smoken Joe’s in December. From sweet to savory, there will be quite the aromatic array of delights to choose from; featuring candied bacon brushed with dark chocolate and topped with pecans; bourbon, bacon brownie drizzled with bourbon simple syrup topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, pork butt demi-glace with choice of sides, and pork belly BLT. Any way you slice it; it’s pure heaven.
