Backstage Tour of Alex Theater April 9, 2011

This is your opportunity to see the Alex as you have never seen it before! Your volunteer guide was involved in the efforts to save and restore the theatre and will provide you with an overview of the venue's 80 year history, restoration process and current activities and programs. The Alex tour takes guests through all of the backstage areas including the dressing rooms and green room, as well as the forecourt, magnificent lobbies and theatre auditorium. In addition, your guide will explain the background of the architecture, sculpture and other art objects that grace the interior and exterior of the Alex Theatre.
