Tim Barlow and BAC present

Earfull

3 - 15 April, 8pm (Sun 6pm)

All shows will be speech to text interpreted for deaf and hard of hearing people.

Taking a funny and painful look at what it’s like to be deaf, Earfull is an inspirational story by Tim Barlow, about a deaf man who gave up everything to become an actor.

‘I joined the army as a lad from school. They brought out a new rifle at the time. Huge bang it had. Made me deaf. Then, in my thirties I decided I wanted to be an actor. Difficult decision when you’re deaf and you can’t hear directors, especially with a wife, two children and a mortgage.’

This hilarious one man show has been especially devised for deaf and hard of hearing audiences, and is followed by an intimate question and answer session in which audience members, cast and crew are able to engage in genuine dialogue about what it’s like to be deaf and hard of hearing. Come along, enjoy the show and voice your opinions.
