I went to the convention last year and I had such a blast!!! Everyone was really nice, attendees and celebs alike.

The late Bob May was there and he seemed like a such happy guy joking with all of the other celebs. May he rest in peace.

Richard Hatch from Battlestar Galactica was also there and he is a very intelligent and personable man. I thoroughly enjoyed our chat and I'm really hoping he comes back.

In addition, J.G. Hertzler (Martok, leader of the Klingon Empire) was there. He is also very cool, hilarious, and had his entourage of local Klingons on hand as his personal guard. Mr. Hertzler is an interesting person and has been in more shows than I had realized.

Suzie Plakson, who has played many roles on a few of the ST different series, was also there cracking up the audience. You would best remember her as Worf's mate or the female Q from Voyager. She told us a hilarious story about her agent calling for her to audition for the role of K'ehylar and the agent thought the character's name was...well, pronounced a bit differently. Susie's favorite cast to work with in terms of fun people: TNG. Oh how I envy her!!!

If you love any sci-fi you should really go to the convention. There were a lot of Star Wars and Star Trek stuff, as well as many other shows old and new. It's lots of fun, easy to go to, and you get to see the celebs up close. I didn't dress up (maybe I will this year) but there were plenty of cool costumes. Now that I've been how could I not go again?!!
