Barack the Vote, is a one evening showcase of some of Nashville’s finest indie rock bands, presented by Music City For Change.
Saturday, Nov.1 at The 5 Spot Heypenny, Oblio, Color Music, Team Illuminati, and Cheer Up, Charlie Daniels will all be wielding their axes to influence social change.
Music starts at 9 pm, but come early for the presidential nominee look-a-like contest, pin the tail on the donkey/elephant, and the Obama photo booth.
The show is an 8 dollar suggested donation at the door, however any contribution made prior to the show will place you on the guest list. This is the best way to insure admittance, since the event in likely to be filled to capacity. Once you donate, you will receive a thank you e-mail from the Obama Campaign and then a confirmation e-mail regarding the guest list within a few days.
All funds from these shows go to Obama for America.
