Join us for B scene, the Blanton's monthly art party. Spring has sprung and things are hopping in Austin. This month celebrate "art in motion" with the Cohen New Works Festival, a biennial festival organized by the UT Department of Theatre and Dance that celebrates original works created by students, faculty, and guest artists. Throughout the evening, short performances of an original choreographed piece by MFA dance candidates will take place at various locations within the museum. Get moving with a live performance by FOOT PATROL (9 PM) and music by DJ MEL and THE LEARNING SECRETS (Smith Building). Plus, enjoy free appetizers, cash bar, tours that focus on works of art in the Blanton's collection featuring movement, art activities, and more! The Blanton Cafe will offer tasty samples of their flatbread pizzas outside on the plaza and will be open until 9 PM. The Museum Shop will also be open late (10:30 PM).

Cost: $5 members / $10 non-members. Buy tickets online or at the museum.
