Axe Proximity Presents – Unscene Miami December 4, 2008

AXE Proximity, 944 Magazine and the UnScene Photography Tour present UnScene Miami, a one-night-only gallery event showcasing the work of Miami's emerging photographers at SET.

Talented local artists will participate in UnScene Miami by displaying their work in two different contests, each of which provides a vehicle for exposure. Five finalists have been chosen to exhibit their images of the city they call home. The winning photographer, announced December 4, will travel to Los Angeles in the spring to compete for a chance to have his or her artwork showcased in a full spread in an upcoming issue of 944 Magazine.

In a parallel competition, Miami photographers “on assignment” for Proximity by AXE will display the results of their efforts to visually capture the essence of a new scent. The winner of the Proximity by AXE contest will receive his or her own online gallery show at unscenetour.com. All the exhibiting artists’ work will be on sale and proceeds will benefit a local Miami charity.

Guests will enjoy Proximity by AXE fragrance-inspired cocktails by VGeorgio and Rémy Cointreau in the Proximity Lounge. The event is free and open to the public, but guests must RSVP at 944.com/unscene as event space is limited.
