"Late Bloomer" is a dark and humorous short film that centers around a 7th grade sex ed class. The film is directed by emerging filmmaker Craig Macneill and will be screened as part of the LA Short Film Festival at the ArcLight Cinema (Theater #12) on Sept. 11th at 5:30pm.

Entering its eighth year, the LA Shorts Fest is the largest short film festival in the world and one of the few recognized by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences. The festival attracts the highest caliber of short films made each year. Since it?s inception, nineteen festival participants have gone on to earn Academy Award nominations and five have won the Oscar
