Join us for a night to honor and celebrate an institution: Avotcja. Jazz musician, DJ, poet and mentor, Avotcja continues to inspire budding and veteran artists alike. Her influence spans generations, continents and, some would argue, the time/space contiuum itself. Hosted and curated by Mazacote's Jose Ramirez, this evening will feature noted Bay Area artists performing their own renditions of Avotcja's vast catalogue of musical and literary works. Whether you know Avotcja's work, or not, this will be a night to remember.
