This soul/funk ensemble had a hit in 1974 with the instrumental 'Pick Up the Pieces.' Headed by two of the originals, Alan Gorrie & Onnie McIntyre, this classic funky band is celebrating more than 25 years. The Fondue Monks is a Texas based band that has been together for over twelve years with all the same members. Their music has been described as a mixture of several styles and has been coined as Texas eclectic gumbo. Members feature brothers Zamoran who make up the rhythm section, guitar by Steve Olson and lead vocals come from front man Denver Courtney.
