Avenged Sevenfold effectively annihilates the distinction between punk and metal. The band eschews punk's loud-fast rules but artfully combines punk rock with melody, metal's white-knuckle intensity and powerful wails of unflinching lyrics and an adventurous spirit.

Interesting, theyre not a bad band. Cool that theyre coming to Tulsa. I am very sad to have missed Cradle of Filth though!
