Author's Reception And Book Signing January 13, 2007

The Pendleton Community Library will sponsor an author's reception and book signing event for the author, Stanley Huseland, on Saturday, January 13th at 10:00 a.m. in the Community Room at the library. The event is co-sponsored by the Pendleton Lions Club, Pendleton Historical Museum, Pendleton and Fall Creek Township Historical Society, Grapevine Bakery and Mainstreet Coffee Company.

Anderson and Pendleton area residents will particularly enjoy the discussion of the chapter The Feisty Kid from Pendleton. Whether you remember the 1950's and 1960's or not, you will enjoy reminiscences about the swimming hole at The Falls, the Paramount Theater (and the youngsters in a band who were elated to be booked there), the Golden Crust donut shop (a hangout for youth), teen-parties and even a fist fight or two.

Special recognition is planned for Keith Bulen's classmates of the Pendleton High School class of 1944.
