Author Wendy Duong presents Postcards from Nam December 5, 2009

Author Wendy Duong introduces the Vietnamese translation of her new book, Postcards from Nam. The author will discuss various themes raised in her book, including the “postcards” motif, the interconnection of various art forms as recordings of the human experience and need for cultural identity. The author will also explore the interplay between Art and Life in the context of the Vietnamese American immigration experience.
Includes art exhibits and 10 minutes of musical prelude introducing the traditional music of Vietnam.
