Richmond will appear in person to demystify her writing and her book: The Year of Fog, the Sunnyvale/Silicon Valley Reads Selection for 2011. A walk on foggy Ocean Beach in San Francisco is the starting point for the page-turner novel. The Year of Fog follows the journey of a young woman through the mysteries of memory and guilt after her fiancée's six-year-old daughter disappears at the beach while in her care.
