"The Cat's Table" takes place in the early 1950s and follows the adventures of an 11 year old boy who boards a ship in Sri Lanka bound for England. Ondaatje is the author of "Anil's Ghost" and "The English Patient," which won the Booker Prize and was adapted into an award-winning film. He lives in Canada. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
