Author Lisa Phillips Talks about her experience with Breast Cancer January 20, 2011

"Mama, You have a Bald Head: Thriving in the Face of Breast Cancer" is a memoir about a resilient woman who in the face of adversity used love, humor, family and friends right through to her recovery. Seemingly healthy, and at the mere age of 31, working and thriving Lisa Phillips was shocked to receive a breast cancer diagnosis. Throughout her journey, Lisa comes to terms with everything that life throws her way and consistently uses humor.

First and foremost, Lisa Phillips is a proud wife and mother. When not chasing after her three-year-old son, Lisa also enjoys working as a Speech and Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.
