Join critically acclaimed science writer Jonah Lehrer as he makes the seemingly abstract subject of the brain relevant and exciting! In his new book, "How We Decide," Lehrer explains how the latest research on the brain not only helps us better understand the decisions we make, but helps us make better decisions. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Lehrer presents "a readily engaging, literate and well-researched glimpse into the great mystery of how we make up our minds."

Lehrer graduated from Columbia University, studied at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar and has worked in the lab of Nobel Prize-winning neuroscientist Eric Kandel. He's written for The New Yorker, The Washington Post, Nature and The Boston Globe and is a Contributing Editor at Wired, Scientific American Mind and National Public Radio's Radio Lab. Lehrer's first book was Proust Was a Neuroscientist.

"Explaining decision-making on the scale of neurons makes for a challenging task, but Lehrer handles it with confidence and grace." - New York Times
