Australian Aboriginal Art Course - Study Day 2 November 23, 2012

This day will be devoted to the study of a number of aspects of Australian Aboriginal Art. It follows on from content covered in Garry Darby's 'Australian Aboriginal Art - Study Day 1', however it is not necessary for participants to have first attended that course. There are a number of new developments taking place in Aboriginal art and the focus of the day will be on the new and emerging trends. Participants can expect to broaden his/her knowledge of Australian Aboriginal art and come to an understanding of the diversity of regional styles. Within those discussions individual paintings will be analysed. Participants will also gain beneficial practical advice about how to make a purchase and how to assess the market.
