Austin Genealogical Society “Using PERSI” Meeting August 6, 2011

Sue Kaufman, Manager of the Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research, will teach us how to use PERSI, the Periodical Source Index. PERSI is a subject index of genealogy and local history periodicals written since 1800. Available through the Austin Public Library, it contains more than 2.3 million article citations in 6,600 periodicals held in repositories around the country. This is a free event, and as always our activities are open to visitors. We hope you'll come join us!
