Austin Genealogical Society Monthly Meeting August 28, 2012

We’re pleased to welcome Mike Cox, a member of the Texas Institute of Letters and author of 20 non-fiction books, who will present “Trailing Old West History.” Mike will share research and writing tips as well as stories about little-known aspects of Texas history and the Texas Rangers. Mike says, “Old-time Texas Rangers used to say some men just need killing. Some stories just need telling, and that's what I like to do.” This is a free event, and as always, visitors are welcomed and encouraged!
