Austin Genealogical Society Monthly Meeting February 28, 2012

We’re pleased to welcome genealogist Sylvia L. Nimmo, who will discuss various types of lineage societies and strategies for completing a successful membership application. Membership in a lineage society is a research objective for many genealogists. It can offer validation and recognition of your research, a way to preserve and share your work, and access to information, education, and like-minded researchers.
