A witty farce featuring the manners and mating rituals of English upper class society at the end of the nineteenth century. Wilde called his play “a delicate bubble of fancy.”

Although the courtship of a beautiful heiress is at the forefront, this complex dark comedy of Shakespeare explores stereotypes of Christians and Jews in the bustling cosmopolitan port of Venice.

Auditions will be held 6 p.m, Friday, March 11 and 10 a.m., Saturday, March 12 in the Black Box Theatre. Questions? Call 425.640.1046.
