Auditions for Duquesne University Tamburitzans February 2, 2010

General auditions for the Tamburitzans performing season. AUDITIONS: February 3rd & 4th, 2010 at the Tamburitzans Administration Building, 1801 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh, PA. 15219.
Students selected to become Tamburitzans receive Grant-in-aid which is applied towards tuition for the current academic year. The current aid is approximately 13,000 dollars and is renewable for up to four years. Students must be accepted as either freshman or as transferring students to Duquesne University.
During the performance season, which is also the academic school year, the students perform on weekends and holidays at various locations around the country. During the 2009-2010 season the students are currently scheduled to perform at 53 venues.
If travel to Pittsburgh is not possible, applicant must submit a 15-minute VHS, DVD, or Mini-DV video audition by February 1st.
