Auditions - Boston Gay Men's Chorus September 13, 2009

All interested singers are encouraged to audition; previous choral singing experience is helpful and elementary music reading skills are a plus. The audition process includes singing a familiar song, sightsinging, vocalizing, and an evaluation of basic musicianship skills. Email [email protected] or call 617-542-7464.

A weekly Wednesday night rehearsal commitment plus occasional additional rehearsals are required. The BGMC also welcomes male and female non-singing members as part of its “Fifth Section” volunteer program. Fifth Section members volunteer at weekly rehearsals, backstage and front of house at concerts and outreach events, and other chorus activities.
