Audio Documentary Workshop February 18, 2009

Open Space invites participation in a 3-day audio documentary workshop conducted by multimedia journalist Chhavi Sachdev.

The workshop is designed for college students, mediapersons, working professionals and all individuals interested in radio broadcasting. It will equip participants to record and produce their own audio stories/podcasts using very simple audio recorders and computer software. You could use this skill to make and upload your stories on the Internet or have them broadcast on campus radio, FM and other radio stations.

Groups of participants will create short audio programmes exploring a variety of creative formats and themes. The audio stories produced at the workshop will carry the names/credits of the participants who made the project, and will be showcased on the Open Space (www.openspaceindia.org) website.
