Special Guest
RISE Resident Mike Swells

Mike Swells has been resident DJ at RISE, Boston’s only after-hours nightclub, since 2005. Monthly 5+ hour sets for the club’s community of open-minded music aficionados has allowed him to develop a boundary-less aesthetic rooted in house and techno, yet spanning every genre of dance music – an approach inspired by Danny Howells’ marathon sets and Phish’s freeform musical excursions. Swells has performed at some of the nations most respected nightclubs, from Pacha (NYC) to B.E.D. (Miami), Temple (S.F.) to Avalon (L.A.), Five (D.C.) to House of Blues (Cleveland). Back at home, Swells has taken the lead as Creative Director at RISE, bringing diverse A-List global artists like Josh Wink, Sebastien Leger, Howells, Wolfgang Gartner, and Damian Lazarus to the Hub for exclusive late-night sets. Swells’ commitment to push EDM in Boston does not end at RISE; he was also a driving force on the executive steering committee for Together: The New England Electronic Music Festival in 2010. From the DJ booth to the studio to the planning room, Mike Swells is stretched thin, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Performances by Elite Brewery Dancers

Emily Hilly is a member of the up and coming burlesque troupe The Betsi Feathers, performing a variety of dance styles, including performances using hula dancing. She has done side shows as a professional hula-hooper, and has been studying dance over the past 5 years.

The Brewery Exchange across from the UMass Lowell campus provides the best in Top 40 and nightlife entertainment for the UMass alumni and the city. For over a decade, Resident DJ of Sexy Saturdays Eddie Ed has been moving the floor at The Brewery Exchange and has been more than ready to take it to the next level for something that only the Elite race of Party People can understand. In collaboration with entertainment local and beyond, he and The Brewery Exchange will bring only underground Electronic Dance Music to floor for those who know what a real dance party is.

Extreme limosuine will provide a very, very reasonable package, around $20 a ticket that will include entry, for a 10 passenger limo from a mutual meet up location to the venue. If you and some friends are interested in tickets please post on the event page so we can establish where the limo will pick up. There are only 2 10 passenger cars available so act fast if you want to drink and dance the night away without a care.
