The ability to be in charge of our work lives and maintain autonomy, control, and flexibility are key goals for most consultants—yet sometimes these goals are hard to attain or seem out of reach. We'll hear from a panel of successful women who have created their own paths to these elusive ideals, including working remotely, holding multiple roles, and creating teams and partnerships. We’ll learn from panelists what autonomy, control, and flexibility mean to them as independent consultants; how they have responded to opportunities that have presented themselves along the way; and how consultants must be prepared to have their business evolve along with client needs, the marketplace, and their own interests.
