This workshop, based on Dr. Gabor Maté’s bestselling books, In The Realm of Hungry Ghosts and When The Body Says No, will be a psychological and spiritual exploration that will tame the hungry ghosts within by means of deep emotional processing and spiritual practice. Learn to understand the deepest sources of addiction and the stresses that perpetuate addictive behaviours. Acquire the tools of self-awareness and compassionate non-judgmental inquiry needed to transform the negative energies of addiction into the positive energy of growth. Not for currently active substance users, this workshop is for all others who are struggling with addiction issues in their own lives or in those of loved ones, as well as for professionals working with addicted clients.
