This exhibition looks behind the scenes at Edward Hopper's personal and professional life as well as at the flourishing American movie culture of the 1930s, peeling back the layers of context and meaning embedded in the painting, 'The Sheridan Theatre.' This exhibition also reunites for the first time the eleven drawings Hopper executed in preparation for the final painting.
