Astral Project at Cafe Montmartre

Astral Project, New Orleans' premier modern jazz ensemble, will appear in a benefit performance at Cafe Montmartre on Thursday, September 29 at 9 p.m. The show will benefit the Tipitina's Foundation, and the MusiCares Hurricane Relief Fund.

Half the proceeds will go to Astral Project, and half to MusiCares and the Tipitina's Foundation. The members of Astral Project are themselves displaced New Orleans residents, so it's particularly apt that their performance provides an opportunity to raise money for other musicians affected by the disaster.
