Swedes celebrate the first week of crayfish harvest season by eating boiled crayfish in salted water seasoned with fresh dill. The delicacy is served cold and eaten with fingers. It's accompanied by bread, cheese and cold beverages. At the party, Swedish meatballs and boiled potatoes will round out the meal. There will be a crayfish-eating demonstration so newcomers can see firsthand why bibs are provided. Ole Olsonn's Oldtime Orkestra will play old-time Scandinavian music for dancing after dinner.
