Ashford Breaks was recently praised by Steve Lamacq on his BBC Radio 1 show, singled out by the New Musical Express as one of their 'Breaking Bands Pick of the Week', and was named one of the 'Top Ten New York Bands' by local music website the Deli (before the band had even released any recordings!).

Their perfectly crafted and flawlessly executed songs bring to mind such luminaries as Big Star, the Feelies, the Wedding Present, the Fall, the Zombies, and My Bloody Valentine, among others.

Pete Galub and the Annuals play heartfelt, brilliantly-crafted and meticulously arranged guitar-pop/folk-country a la the Byrds, the Band, Nick Drake, Robyn Hitchcock, Will Oldham, and the Flaming Lips.
