The Dallas chapter of Asha for Education is glad to present the musical
group Indian Ocean.
On a personal note, the musical group INDIAN OCEAN is phenomenally popular
in South Asia, Europe, Australia, and now in the USA. Their concert in
Austin, Texas (this coming Saturday) has been sold out for weeks! They will
be in Dallas the following week, on the Friday, 14th April.
INDIAN OCEAN embodies the best of folk-jazz traditions, along with with
Classical, Sufi, Baul, Shloka, Contemporary and more. They sing in Hindi,
English and Urdu, interspersed with many other languages, such as Bangla,
Sanskrit, Bhilali, and Kashmiri, among others.
