The ASH Contemporary Dance Company continues its exciting fourth season with the world premiere of two dynamic new works, including a half-evening length piece set to original music performed by acclaimed singer/songwriter Angela Ai. The company will take the stage at Drexel University’s Mandel Theater on March 23-24 at 8:00 p.m.

The evening’s program opens with ASH’s signature piece, Ghosts of Things to Come, a haunting 15-minute dance inspired by the score from Requiem for a Dream. Finding My Way follows, an emotionally driven solo artistic director Braham Logan Crane created for former ASH member Caroline Lewis, who will perform as a special guest. The program closes with the world premiere of History, a work born from Crane’s collaboration with Angela Ai, who will perform live with the dancers. Set on a completely white stage, History blends song, dance, and multimedia elements to create an experience that fully engages the audience. Described as a “dance theater piece” by Crane, History promises to become one of ASH’s most celebrated works.
