Ascension's Easter Fiesta April 18, 2009

Ascension's junior and senior high youth are headed for the Navajo Reservation on the borderlands of Arizona and New Mexico this summer to work on homes and serve children and elderly residents. But we can't make it without your help. Come celebrate, enjoy great Southwestern food and beverages, and bid on fabulous silent and live auction items at this Eastertime extravaganza!
The proceeds from this event will go toward expenses for our mission trip and scholarships to youth events throughout the year. Tickets are $20 ($10 for youth) and include dinner and an evening of fun. Please invite your friends and family to come and support this fabulous group of youth and make this an unforgettable evening!

How Can I Help?!?
As a parent, neighbor, fellow parishioner, or friend, you can help us in several ways:
1) Buy your tickets today and join us for our Fiesta--and invite your friends and neighbors!
2) Make a tax-deductible donation to our auction. The success of our auction depends on a variety of items of all different values, donated by generous and creative people who want to support our youth. See below for details.
3) Ascension parishioners are invited to help us with procurement beforehand and with setup, cleanup, and organization on the day of the auction. We are always looking for volunteers! Please sign up to volunteer by contactingStephen Shaver.

Donating to Our Auction
We are deeply grateful for your donations. To contribute an item, simply fill out the Donor Form and return it to us (keep a copy for your records). Donations can be cash, gift certificates, gift cards, or physical items. If you have a physical item that needs to be picked up, contact Stephen Shaver by e-mail or at (214) 340-4196.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be babysitting available the night of the auction?Yes, for children ages 3 and under in Ascension's nursery, by making a reservation in advance (e-mail Stephen Shaver or call (214) 340-4196). Our maximum capacity is 24 children and we will not be able to accommodate any above this number.

What forms of payment for auction items will be accepted?We can accept cash or checks on the night of the auction. Unfortunately, we can't accept credit cards as payment for auction items.

Will tickets be available the night of the event?Only if there are still tickets available. Reserve your tickets now to be sure!
