The Argument Room's ONLINE interactive debating forum returns for October with 'BARDIST! As long as we continue to obsess over Shakespeare, our theatre can never move on'. Join us via your computer as we discuss whether the development of new work is being inhibited by this obsession.

Gathering together for the event will be artistic director of Rose Theatre, Kingston STEPHEN UNWIN, actor, writer and director TIM CROUCH, artistic director of Custom/Practice RAE McKEN, theatre maker and performance artist JEREMY HARDINGHAM, and writer KATHRYN CHIN with CHRIS JOHNSTON of Rideout sitting as Chair.

The Argument Room makes a space for dialogue on issues pertinent to the arts and social policy and we invite you to not only watch and listen live but to actively engage with the unfolding discussion in the studio. Your questions, comments and reflections fuels and directs the debate in many surprising ways.

View the forthcoming show live online on FRIDAY OCTOBER 26th starting at 6.30pm GMT. To participate, at no cost, in this and future monthly events, access each debate via live-stream by registering at www.theargumentroom.net
