As I Lay Dying is a melodic metalcore band which features tempo variations. All That Remains is a Massachusetts-based metalcore band. It was started as a side project by Phillip Labonte in 1998 while he was still a member of Shadows Fall. The first album came out in 2002, prompting DigitalMetal.com to hail the group as "one of the premier melodic death metal acts this side of the Atlantic." Haste the Day features Devin Chaulk, Jimmy Ryan, Brennan Chaulk, Jason Barnes and Mike Murphy. Through the Eyes of the Dead is a popular touring band from the Charlotte area.
