Wow. This concert was way, way, way, too loud.
The percussionists and bassist/guitarist were great. I would love to see/hear them in concert without the horns.
The horns were too discordant, and although I presume Mr. Sandoval is very talented, it semed he was playing only for his own enjoyment without regard for the audience.
Frankly, this is the first concert at Macky that I've walked out before the show was over, and I've seen a lot of shows there; I've also never notice as many people leaving during the show. Had the music been better, I might have tolerated the noise level, but it wasn't so I didn't.
