ARTSingapore 2008, Southeast Asia’s major and long running, premium art fair is back for the 8th year. This year’s fair promises to be bigger than ever with US$30 million worth of artworks ranging from paintings to video and digital art showcased by about 110 art galleries from 16 countries including Japan, China, Spain and Israel. To complement the entire art appreciation experience, fair participants can also gain access to art talks, fringe art events, museum visits and VIP programmes.

Some of the artworks to look out at this year’s event include huge sculptures (two to three meters high) from Taiwan’s Fine Art Centre; Aboriginal art from Australia’s Ballan and Pannan Galleries; and contemporary, Indian art collections from first-time participating galleries like Art Alive Gallery, Art Musings, Arushi Arts, Delhi Art Gallery and Gallery Sanskriti.
ARTSingapore 2008 will also provide the opportunity for Korean art lovers to check out 22 new Korean Gallery participants including Park Ryu Sook Gallery, Gallery Neo, Gallery Yeh, Gallery SP, and Galerie Bhak.
For the first time, ARTSingapore will also welcome 13 Japanese art galleries including Megumi Ogita Gallery, Shonandai MY gallery, Arte Gallery, Shinseido Hatanaka and Kinosho Kikaku.
