Please join us for our next fundraising event, featuring art work by a new artist, Vlad Margulis, and prints of a photographer, Andrew Mihal. Join us for a wonderful art exhibition and an evening that includes buffet dinner, cash bar, DJ music (Adam Meadows), improv theater performance by "The Un-Scripted Theater Company", dance performance by Priyanjali dance group, silent auction, raffle, and more. Foundation for Freedom is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to improve literacy in impoverished communities around the world by promoting primary education for children. By attending our event, buying art, and making donations you’ll be helping us in our ongoing efforts to sponsor 12 schools in 4 different countries, including India, Bangladesh, Niger, and Peru. You’d also be helping us in our endeavor to sponsor more schools and projects, both domestic and international.

We’re part of the effort to help the estimated 150 million children worldwide that are currently unable to finish their primary education. Our organization is unique in its approach to improving literacy worldwide. Rather than applying one development tool to each of our diverse schools, we use a variety of methods to meet the needs of each school and community. Our projects vary widely and include funding: school infrastructure and building costs, running water, teachers’ salaries, desks and chairs, educational supplies, medical support, and hot lunches. We make a long-term commitment to our schools so we can ensure an increase in school attendance and literacy rates in the community.
